What's Included

2022 Chablis, Domaine Christian Moreau Père at Fils

The Moreau family is in the sixth generation working their organic vineyards in the heart of Chablis, on the left bank of the Serein River. Facing south-southeast, the vineyard soil is rich in calcareous Kimmeridgian clay dating back to the Jurassic age. The vines are over 50 years old, and the grapes are hand-harvested and sorted.

The wine is fermented in steel tanks, then left to rest on lees for 10 months. The result is a creamy rich texture, lots of ripe stone fruit and crispy mineral finish.

2019 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, Buehler Vineyards

Buehler Vineyards is an idyllic 300 acre winery located six miles east of St. Helena in the Conn Valley. In 1971, John Buehler Sr. bought a retirement property here.  In 1983, they hired young Heidi Peterson Barrett, who guided the wines from vine to glass until 1988. She would go on to gain fame as winemaker at Screaming Eagle, and is now one of Napa’s top consulting winemakers. From 1988 to 1993, John Jr. took the helm. In 1993, he hired David Cronin, who makes the wines to this day.

The 2019 Cabernet is crafted from grapes grown in Buehler’s hillside estate vineyards. The wine is aged 18 months in French and American oak. The result is a quintessential Napa Cabernet Sauvignon- black fruit aromas and flavours, a velvety texture, firm tannins, and is lush, yet elegant.

2020 Al Passo, IGT Toscana, Tolaini

Pier Luigi's 4-year search for a top Tuscan vineyard brought him to Chianti Classico, to the prestigious region of Castelnuovo Berardenga, and to the properties at Montebello and San Giovanni. When Pier Luigi first set foot on the amphitheatre- shaped vineyard at Montebello, he knew he had found the perfect balance of climate, soil, and exposure.

Al Passo is a small circular forest with an interior passage ("al passo") at the highest point of the Tolaini vineyard with a breathtaking view of the towers of Siena, the town of Montalcino and Montepulciano to the east.

The wine is a gorgeous blend of Sangiovese (34%), Merlot (33%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (33%), and spends 14 months in French oak fermenters and in French oak barriques, 6 of which are spent on the fine lees.
